How EPF Calculation works?

• Employee Contribution: 12% of your Basic Pay + DA.

• Employer Contribution: 12% of Basic Pay. However, only 3.67% goes to your EPF Corpus (which earns interest). The remaining 8.33% goes to the Employee Pension Scheme (EPS) which is used for monthly pension after retirement.

• Interest: This calculator assumes the interest is compounded monthly on the running balance.

• Note: The results are estimates and actual EPF balance may vary based on exact EPFO accounting rules.
